The Arc Angel is a footwear solution that will reduce the impact on dancers feet while in pointework training. The Arc has major support provided by installed elastic bands, which will encourage proper technique of this form of art. Traditional pointe shoes usually last 8-10 weeks. Using durable materials, the Arc angels will last the dancer for a longer period of time.

Is this real? Is this happening or is it just a prototype? I NEED TO KNOW BECAUSE I AM VERY MUCH INTRIGUED!

I’m having one of those ballet moments where I’m like “WHY AM I NOT RUSSIAN OH MY GOD WHYYYY?!?” Needless to say, the ballet is wonderful and intermission needs to be over because I am anxiously awaiting Cinderella’s pas de deux.

That’s about $300 of smelly pointe shoes right there. I always keep them, even after I retire them.
Do you guys throw them out or do you have them on display in your room like I do?

Just finished sewing my Rubins! This isn’t the best pirouette in the world. (I’m not used to these shoes, the floor is really slick, I didn’t warm up, I have bad technique in general, etc.) I’m just really excited to start breaking these in. c:
