Today I lost my best friend.
Missy, I will miss having you greet me at the door and I will miss walking you outside at 4 AM and I will really miss you falling asleep on my lap/backpack/feet/clothes/etc. I’m happy that I got to have you as my friend for nearly 16 years. Wherever you are, I hope there are lots of fluffy pillows and McDonald’s french fries.
